Albert Bausch studied business economics at Tilburg University. He applied his specialization, customer satisfaction management, within the banking organization S.W.I.F.T. in Brussels and within the former family company Bausch Datacom. In this company he was responsible for the internet department in 1994/1995 and co-founder of Infoboard, one of the first internet service providers in Belgium and the Netherland (later acquired by France Telecom). In 1997 Albert and his brother Alex started the internet software company i-Concept, specializing in the integration of enterprise applications in webportals, intranets and virtual learning environments, built on closed and open source technology. Their grow-as-you-go approach consists of a seamless introduction of technology along with content development and the optimization of user experience.
